Call us at 508-380-5607 for plowing this winter!!! ⇒Lawn mowing: This is done weekly or as needed, it also includes trimming/weed wacking of the grass around shrubs and perennial beds. Price is based on the size of the yard. ⇒Fertilizing: 4 or 5 step program Step 1: Early spring - Helps the grass recover after the winter Step 2: Late May/Early June - Weed&Feed and crabgrass prevention Step 3: June-August - Grub and Insect Control (This is based on the individual needs of a customers grass because not everyone has grub and insect problems) Step 4: This step helps the grass recover after the summer heat Step 5: Late October/Early November - Winterizer (Helps the grass get through the winter months) ⇒Bobcat Services ⇒Aeration: This is done by a machine that takes plugs out of the ground. This helps more oxygen get to the grass roots and allows the grass root system to spread out. This is generally done in the late summer/early fall, but can be done anytime also. This is sometimes accompanied with over-seeding. This is done hourly and estimates can be given. ⇒Dethatching: This is done either by hand raking or by a machine. It removes dead grass that has been matted down over the winter. This is done in the spring and is sometimes accompanied with over-seeding. This is done hourly and estimates can be given. ⇒New Lawn Installation: This involves all the preparation for seeding. Bringing in new loam/top-soil where it is needed and all the steps involved to put down new seed. ⇒Mulching/Edging: These services can be done anytime during the spring thru the fall. Mulch colors range from red to brown to black. Mulching the planting beds around a property helps to make everything look new again. Edging is done to prevent the grass from overtaking the planting beds and done before the mulching. ⇒Pruning-Shrubs and Ornamental Trees: This is done after the shrub/tree has blossomed/flowered for the year. This is generally done between late July thru October. ⇒Planting-Design and Installation: We can design specific planting arrangements (based on what the customer likes) or provide new ideas. We can even accompany a customer to the nursery if ideas are needed. All plantings are given a 1 year warranty from the time of installation. All shrubs and trees are planted in a compost material that helps to retain moisture. ⇒Spring/Fall Clean-ups: In the spring this involves cutting back all of the dead growth from perennials and removing all the leaves that have blown back into the yard. In the fall this involves cleaning up all the leaves in a yard and removing them also. ⇒Timber/Block Walls: These can be used as retaining walls, or to make raise planting bed areas.
